Municipal Art Society panel explores “Cultural Institutions as Neighborhood Placemakers”

Trending across social media today is #ThrowbackThursday! Though October 30th isn’t that far behind us, we’re looking back to just over a month ago, and rewatching the thoughtful panel “Cultural Institutions as Neighborhood Placemakers,” one of the many thoughtful exchanges hosted as part of the 2015 Summit for New York City, hosted by the Municipal Art Society.

The Summit encouraged us to project ahead to the future of our City, and to discuss how we might all take an active role in shaping it. This particular panel — with its discussion of modernization and planning — was of great interest to us. If you missed the Summit, here’s your chance!
